Personal data that we process

As a visitor, you can use this website without giving any personal data. CNG processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because they are clearly and voluntarily provided to us by you and agree to cookies. This information may include: your name, current function, company name, email address, telephone number and IP address. If our services are purchased through an agreement, we also collect more data that is necessary to handle payments. If you choose to compensate via the website, payment details will not be shared with us. Payment is arranged through a payment provider CM Payments; their terms and conditions can be found here. Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

We do not collect any special personal data, such as data regarding race or ethnic background, religious beliefs, criminal record, physical and mental health status, or sexual orientation. Our websites and/or service have no intention of collecting information about website visitors under the age of 16, unless they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify that a visitor is over 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children’s online activities in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without that consent, please contact us through info@climateneutralgroup.co.za, we will delete this information.

Use of data

If you use our services through an agreement and/or want to use it, your personal data will be used to send you quotes, invoices and to be able to handle payments. In addition, we may inform you about changes in our services and climate projects and pricing and the necessary information regarding annual information regarding the update of emission factors.
If you have voluntarily provided personal data through this website and/or through a third party, who has given you permission to share your information with us, for example to access specific content, such as Whitepapers, brochures, factsheets, to attend an event, to respond to an investigation, to contact us via a contact form, or to make a request to send messages and notices about a specific area of interest. In those cases, the information you provide will be used to comply with your request. We will also delete the personal data we collect from you at your request, unless you have an agreement with us. In all cases, your personal data may also be used to protect the rights or property of ourselves and those of our users and, if necessary, to comply with legal proceedings.

How long we keep personal data

CNG does not keep your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary in order to achieve the goals for which your data is collected. In the case of an agreement, we use the statutory retention period. The right to oblivion, the removal of data, can only be done in respect of data not necessary for the legal obligation. If we do not have an agreement and you have voluntarily issued personal data, but you are entitled to oblivion and you can have data deleted by us.

Sharing personal data with third parties

CNG does not share your data with third parties and only provides it if necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We enter into a processor agreement with companies that process your data in our remit to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. CNG remains responsible for these processing operations.

Forms
When sending a form, the data is sent by email to GreenSeat. This is also where possible personal data is stored. In no way is this information shared with third parties.

Agile CRM

The marketing automation system used is Agile CRM. This database system stores data from individuals/companies. Personal data that can be stored herein are: Name, Function, Company Name, Email Address, Telephone Number, Website, Address. In addition to the above information, if you give us permission to install cookies, you will also keep track of which pages you visit on the website. This gives us the opportunity to offer content that suits you. Our newsletters and e-mail campaigns are also sent with Agile CRM. We keep track of who clicks on which link so that we can see which type of content best appeals to the target group of the newsletter / campaigns. Check out Agile CRM’s privacy policy here.

Google Analytics

Google analytics tracks the traffic of our website. In this way we analyze the performance of the website and we can see the effects of our marketing activities. Google Analytics records:

Third-party tracking

On this website, several third-party tracking codes (services) are used to show ads that match the pages you have visited on our website. Services we show these ads on are from Google and LinkedIn. If you have an account with one of the above parties, it may be that their privacy policy states that they can link your visit to our website to your profile on their website. As a result, your visit to our website may be shared with the parties below. We do not share personal data with any of these services.
