Thought Leadership is therefore crucial for us in our marketing strategy; many more organizations should know that Climate Neutral Group is best at guiding from A to Zero emissions. We want to maximize our impact with a rock-solid content strategy in a dynamic environment. I am looking for a strong Communications Manager, someone who has affinity with topics such as climate change, circular economy, energy transition and sustainability.

What you are going to do

The Communications Manager works closely together with the Marketing Communications Manager and translates the marketing objectives and business strategy into an effective content strategy. He/she develops and implements campaigns and writes and edits articles. The specific knowledge of Climate Neutral Group is the ideal content to convince prospects on the one hand (lead generation) and to build Thougth leadership on the other.

This includes climate projects, cases and topics, but also white papers, brochures, news and insights, opinion content and content for third parties. The Communications Manager creates media opportunities and forms interesting partnerships.

Criteria and competencies

  • Master degree in (online) marketing, communication, media or journalism;
  • Excellent English, as all content should be developed in English for global delivery;
  • Good command of the Dutch language is a plus;
  • Strong writing skills;
  • 7+ years marketing communications experience creating business to business content;
  • Experience with content marketing and the use of offline and online media (channels, tools and platforms);
  • Excellent project management skills;
  • A strong affinity with or knowledge of themes such as: climate change, circular economy, energy transition and sustainability.

The Carbon Offset Portfolio Manager/Trader role is for 32-40 hours a week and based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Climate Neutral Group offers a competitive salary and a pension plan. This role is open for candidates that already have a valid NL-working permit.
