Main purpose of the position

As part of the Projects and Development team, you will play a leading role in contributing to the emerging South African carbon market by implementing and managing carbon offset projects. You will be responsible for the sourcing, screening, planning, developing and managing of projects for our South African portfolio. If you are an enthusiastic professional with an understanding of carbon finance, especially renewable energies and sustainable technologies, then we are looking for you!

Marketing Manager

(24 – 36hrs / week) based in Cape Town, South Africa

As Climate Neutral Group is facing a rapidly growing presence and a significant increase in South African clients, you will oversee the way in which we approach this strategic market in terms of presenting our company, showcasing our services and spearheading our online and offline communications in the country. Drawing on the specialized resources of the greater Climate Neutral Group marketing team of experts, you will cement our brand positioning and multiply our visibility amongst corporate South Africa. The Marketing Manager South Africa will report directly to the Country Director South Africa and liaise with the Global Marketing Director.

Based in Cape Town or Johannesburg, South Africa

As part of the Projects and Development team, you will play a leading role in contributing to the emerging South African carbon market by implementing and managing carbon offset projects. You will be responsible for developing emission reduction estimations and delivering high quality products (project documents, monitoring reports and others) and will assist in audit processes for the validation and verification of GHG reduction. If you are an enthusiastic professional with a sound understanding of carbon asset development, then we are looking for you!
